The FNE and SCL submit an extrajudicial agreement on tariffs for Santiago’s airport parking lots | 04 / 05 / 2011

On May 2, 2011, the FNE and SCL submitted an extrajudicial agreement to the TDLC, made in light of an FNE investigation regarding tariffs of theSantiagoairport. By virtue of said agreement, the majority of consumers (those that park for less than 90 minutes in the lot) will be offered a discount on the applicable tariffs of the current “Express” parking lot of the airport—the charges will be segmented every thirty minutes, rather than every two hours.

The FNE is currently participating in the “15^th International Conference on Competition”, taking place during April 13^th-15^th, 2011, in Berlin, Germany.

This conference, organized by the German competition authority (Bundeskartellamt) is one of the most internationally renowned events on competition matters. Important figures partake in the event, such as competition agency authorities, attorneys specializing in antitrust legislation, academics, politicians, representatives of international companies and other high-ranking participants.
