FNE extends public consultation timeframe on Horizontal Merger Guidelines until June 25.

The National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) has decided to extend the timeframe for the public consultation on the new Horizontal Merger Guidelines that began last May 12, until June 25.

The competition community has shown great interest in contributing to these Guidelines, both locally and overseas. For this reason, the FNE has recently published an English version of the Guidelines.

The feedback received will contribute to elaborate a document that will provide more certainty and predictability to the market regarding the framework that the FNE will use to analyze the impact of horizontal concentration in competition.
